Cable Television Franchise Request For Bid Proposals The City of Corbin, Kentucky is soliciting bid proposals from parties interested in obtaining franchises to operate cable television systems within the confines of the City of Corbin, Kentucky. Franchise(s) awarded pursuant to this request for bid proposal will be non-exclusive and will be for a term of ten (10) years. Sealed bids must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. (EST) on April 10, 2019. Sealed bid proposals must be sent to: Corbin City Clerk, Roberta Webb, 805 South Main Street, Corbin, KY 40701. Sealed bids will be opened at 11 A.M. (EST) on Thursday, April 11, 2019, in the upstairs meeting room at the Corbin Government Center. The City reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in awarding the franchise, and to accept what, in it's opinion, is the lowest, responsive, responsible and best bid which is in the best interest or, and most advantageous to the City of Corbin.
